Radiant – Praise and Worship Group

In Exodus 34:29, we read that after speaking directly with God during the second writing of the Ten Commandments, Moses left Mount Sinai with his face physically glowing from having been in the presence of God. It was so intense that his people couldn’t even look upon him without a veil covering his face. This idea of being so in touch with God that others can’t help but notice is the heart behind what I want to pursue with our Radiant group. The goal of this group is to provide a community for folks in worship ministry where we can build each other up in skill and in Spirit. When Radiant gathers together in person the first Thursday of each month, it will serve as some dedicated time for us to work together on the little things that help worship ministry run smoothly from transitions, to harmonies, to working on original lyrics. You will also hear about opportunities to lead worship for local events looking for praise teams and at our monthly worship nights at the studio. But as helpful as we hope the skill-developing portion of this group will be, we are more excited for how we hope this will bless you spiritually through fellowship, time spent together in God’s Word, and sharing how we can pray for one another throughout the next month. We pray that as we continue to develop this community, we will ultimately push each other further in our walks with Christ, and further toward a faith that is noticeably radiant. First session is 8/3/23.
