Drawing – Homeschool Art (Elementary)

Art is so keenly influenced by how we see and how we translate that vision in what we create. Drawing fundamentals bridge what we see with what we are able to express in our art. Begin with basic drawing skills using simple tools such as a #2 pencil, pen or sharpie. Different tools can be added as skills increase. Concepts covered include: line quality, value study, shading techniques. Drawing studies of items and nature studies leading up to a larger final drawing project.
This is a six-part weekly class meeting 1/17/24-2/28/24. Bring a 9×12″ sketch pad and drawing pencil set, similar to Amazon Basics Sketch and Drawing Art Pencil Kit, 17 Piece Set.
